Eddie rushed and rushed to complete his chores. His mama was bringing a surprise for one of her chidren, Danny, Ben, Thomas, Benjamin, Eddie. Just as Eddie finished, his tired mother came in and said, "Boys, come! You know I am here."

As soon as his mother called, the boys rushed in. Including Eddie, then Thomas burst "Mama, what have you brought?" Mama replied, "Among all of you, I choose Eddie, who has proved his kindness for me. I will give him a telescope!"

"But mama what is this telescope?" Eddie asked, "It's a something what can spot germs in." She replied, "Among all of you, Eddie has the most taste of science. Therefore, I give this to you, Eddie! Also remember to study and learn!"

Soon nightfalll came, and everyone was sound asleep. Everyone except Eddie that is! Eddie thought hard about what his mama said, study and learn. Then he said the words of his life. "I promise myself that I will be a scientist!"

Many years flew by, and Eddie grew to be a handsome man. He married Lidiesia, and had 2 kids, 1 daughter and 1 son. He named his kids, Mary and Lizdes. His promise became true, he was a scientist! He even discovered rare butterfly species!

Just before his mother died, he said what she had said many years ago. Except he added a twist, "Among all of you, I choose my mother. For her kind heart and endless love!"

Eddie soon retired and soon became a helper, Lidiesia and Eddie worked to make their community stronger. But then...
