Once upon a time,there lived a man named Daniel,he had two wives; Ada and Mary.

One day Mary's son abused an old woman and Ada beat him for disrespecting an elder.
Mary was angry with Ada for beating her son.

"Why did you beat Emeka?" Her husband asked Ada.
"He disrespected an old woman" Ada answered.

Their husband was still angry with Ada.
Mary called Ada a witch and reminded her that she was childless.

Later in the day, Ada went and knelt down before her husband and asked for money, but he said, "I don't have money".

When Mary entered the room he gave her money immediately without her asking.
Mr Daniel also gave her a Grasscutter to cook.

Mary ate everything and wrapped the bones inside Ada's wrapper and told their husband Ada had stolen the grass cutter. Daniel searched their huts and found piece of bones inside Ada's wrapper.

To be sure, Daniel took Ada and Mary to the river god.
Mary was found guilty and sent packing.
