Thando lived with his mother in a village where people loved playing soccer.

Every morning Thando and his friends walk together to school and walk back home together after school.

One day, Thando decided to walk home alone, because his friends were not ready to go home.

Suddenly, a man in a car approached Thando, offering him a lift home.
He said, "hello young one, it is hot today to walk in the sun, come hop in i'll take you home"
Thando politely said, "no thank you!" but the man would not drive away.

Thando got worried and started running from the car, but the car kept riding along him and this made scared.

Thando ran towards the soccer field, where he knew a lot of people were. Thando ran to the soccer coach, Mr Kani, whom he knew and trusted.

Mr Kani, walked Thando home. Thando told Mr Kani about the man with the car, he advised Thando to never walk alone.

When Mr Kani and Thando arrived home, Thando told his mother about the man in car. Thando was scared and hugged Thando very tight. Thando promised to never walk alone again.
