The first to arrive at the water hole was the Zebras .A big herd of Zebras in their customary white coat with black stripes walked straight to the meeting place to secure a good spot far away from King Lion and the Laughing Hyenas.

Not long after the Zebras all the other animal took their places.King Lion was there so was Girrafe ,Elephant,Water Buffalo,Gizzelle,Meerkat,Gorilla ,Baboon and Leopard all eager to speak.

Leopard did not wast any time and jumped onto the big rock especially chosen for the animal who was speaking.Eagerly the animals walked closer to make sure that they had a good spot. Rhino and Elephany made sure that they were infront.

Leopard this year suggested that all the animal participate in a javalin throughing contest to determine who is the best sporting animal in the animal kingdom. All the animals listened eagerly.This was very exciting.

The animals desided that Leopard would be the referee .First to throw the javalin was Elephant who took a fast run-up holding the javalin securely with his trunk.

Then Waterhog took his turn to throw ,and one after the other animal took their turn.Eager to be crown the winner.

Then Gorilla took a fast run-up and made a monsterous throw.

There after Gazzelle made a great throw which amased all the animals.Leopard used his measure tape to measure the throw.Who do you think will be the winner?

It was Gizzel who's paw was raised truimphantly by Leopard.Gizzel was the sporting champion of the animal Kingdom untill next year.
