There was a man named Gbubemi. He had three daughters who are Alero, Roli and Temisan. He loved his three daughters but he mostly adored Alero. She was the most beautiful girl in Warri kingdom. That made Temisan very jealous .

Alero had two friends who are Yeli and Yeyimi. They were also jealous of her. They were walking in the forest and wondered why every man would reject her because of Alero. Every parent wanted her as a daughter and every girl wanted friendsh

One day, Roli was on her way to fetch water when a snake bit her. She screamed and Mama Yeli was around. She called the native doctor to treat it and Roli rested in her house. Alero went to see her and assured her that everything was good

Alero was going to the stream when she met the prince. He fell in love with her as soon as their eyes met.He asked her to always come and that he fell for her and would love to get to know her. She agreed and they parted ways.

Everyone went to the king's palace for the judgement concerned with Alero. Yeyimi was charged against falsehood, Yeli for following Yeyimi and Temisan for being a bad sister. Meanwhile, Alero was sad that most people hated her.

In the ending, Alero and the prince got married and they lived happily ever after
