Afeefah is a white rhino who was rescued by rangers in the African bush.

Her mum was killed by poachers. The rangers took her to a place of safety.

She was heartbroken. Afeefah was afraid that the poachers would come back to take her horn.

Eventually Afeefah made friends. She felt safe and played in the mud. She drank milk in the sanctuary.

One day Afeefah asked her friend Aaminah, "What do they use our horns for?" Aaminah replied, "they think our horns are magical. "

Afeefah and Aaminah are the last of their kind. They are nearly extinct.
