Ekene and Buma are friends who loved to play were outside. One day,while they played, Buma's mother called them and sent them on a quick errand.

They both decided to have a race on their way so that they could return sooner than if they walked.

They delivered the message to the person and decided to walk back home so that they could have more fun looking at the lovely buildings.

They got distracted with fun they were having and forgot to run back home. While they stopped to talk they saw some of their friends playing.

They stopped to decide whether they should join the children playing football in the field or go home. The thought the football game was more fun so they stayed to play.

They ran into the field and joined their friends. they ran and ran and ran. It was fun playing football in the sun.

Because they scored a lot of goals and were having fun, they forgot that Buma's mother was still waiting to hear from them. But the game ended and it was time to go home.

They ran home panting. Mother was waiting for them at the door. She was not happy that they left her waiting. They apologized and she forgave them.
