Roger and Rosine hear their mother outside, coughing.

and then brush their teeth.

Rosine takes a cup

She sees nothing in the bucket.

Rosine advises her brother, Roger to go to fetch water at the river.

He takes a ten-little jerry cane and leaves.
Rosine stays home while sweeping the compound.
